Solis Care First Village provides interim housing and support services for 232 people formerly experiencing homelessness. Today is the first step in Supervisor Solis’ larger vision that focuses on creating a “Healthy Village” in and around the LAC+USC campus, providing residents with access to world-class integrated health delivery combined with development that promotes economic prosperity, health, and infrastructure for the betterment of the greater community. 2021 Award of Merit, ENR California Best Projects. The Restorative Care Village will provide Los Angeles County residents with the full continuum of services (i.e., recuperative care, bridge housing, permanent supportive housing, respite and recovery center, full scope psychiatric facility and supportive services) as well as a range of opportunities (i.e., education, training, employment, environments for recreation, and amenities that promote socialization) that today’s patients need and deserve.
